The Stryker was a shotgun cut from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Overview

The known information on this weapon is scarce. Its name is explicitly mentioned by the Alpha/Beta Counter-Strike: Global Offensive announcer and can be found in the very early builds' UI sound folder. Its appearance is also unknown has only a placeholder icon occupies its sprite class in the iconlib.swf file.

The Stryker is still referenced in the game's auto-buy functions, but nothing else remains of the weapon in the code.

Trivia

• The placeholder icon depicts a parodied Hello Kitty with an angry expression and a different ribbon. Although the Stryker sprite movieclip is still present in later versions of the iconlib.swf file, the icon was removed.
• It is possible the cut weapon could be the Sentinel Arms Co Striker-12, a semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun.
