There seems to be quite a lot of variety in the way section headings are capitalized on different pages in this wiki. I was wondering whether there is any official preference on how headings should be capitalized, i.e. should they be written in regular sentence like on e.g. Wikipedia or should they be capitalized as per regular English title rules? Even the policy page itself is quite inconsistent in this.

I know we had a discussion about this a while back. I remember, because I wanted to go with "Title Case," but the majority of Wiki articles use "Sentence case."
I will say what I said then. I think Title Case is more proper, as they are technically titles (at least for the H2/== headings), but I am fine with sticking to Wiki standards.
* Unrelated, I realized I had been putting references below external links, which I came to realize is not the norm. I will be switching any I see to ref/ext instead of ext/ref.

It is what I have been using since we had the previous discussion. Unless some one else chimes in, I would stick to sentence case.
